Cytidine-5'-triphosphate disodium salt is a cation-permeable ligand gated ion channel (P2X purinergic receptor) agonist. It is also used as an organic intermediate, pharmaceutical intermediate, food additive and flavoring agent.
Cytidine 5'-triphosphate disodium salt is a pyrimidine nucleoside triphosphate salt that is involved in a variety of biochemical reactions. It is used in the synthesis of RNA by RNA polymerases.
